Bittersweet
This climber features orange seedpods and scarlet berries. The deep green foliage turns to yellow-green in the fall. In June, look for yellow-white flowers. Dutchmans Pipe
What an arresting specimen! This woody deciduous twisting vine is a fast grower, with large, heart-shaped leaves. The name derives from the 2-inch-long yellow-green curved trumpet shaped flowers that flare at the calyx mouth to form 3 brownish-purple lobes and resemble a Dutch smoking pipe. This vine is resistant to diseases and pests. Caution: all parts of this plant are poisonous if ingested.

Hydrangea
Climbing Hydrangea offers year-round interest. The glossy heart-shaped leaves spring from cinnamon-colored stems and exfoliating bark. In late June or early July, lacy, creamy white 6 to 10 inch flowers appear. This is not an overly aggressive vine, so placement options are numerous. Ivy
Fast growing Ivy is a familiar sight to most of us. It grows well in almost any light and well-drained soil. Available in dark green or variegated cultivars,it is easily trained to climb walls and fences, and may also be trained to form shapes. Ivy should not be allowed to grow on trees.

Silver Lace Vine
Deciduous Silverlace vine is a vigorous grower, and quickly reaches 10 to 15 feet. New leaves of reddish bronze turn to bright green. In summer, abundant small, fragrant flowers bloom on slender panicles and are greenish-white or sometimes pinkish. This lovely vine grows well in most soils and light conditions.

Stephanandra Cutleaf
A shrubby deciduous vine, Stephanandra is a moderate grower with an arching habit, and spreads by way of suckers. The wavy-edged mapleleaf shaped leaves are its main attraction, as they turn from green to orange-yellow in the fall. The less significant blossoms range from green to white.

Trumpet Vine
Trumpet vine is a woody, deciduous plant that is quite aggressive. Placement of this vine should be carefully planned; it can be invasive. The blooms are trumpet-shaped, hence the name, and range in color from yellow to orange to red. Growing to 20 to 30 feet, this vine is a real magnet for bees and birds, including hummingbirds.
