Summer blooming bulbs can provide spectacular color in the landscape plantings or in your dining table centerpiece. These profusely blooming, easy-care plants are available in an impressive variety of colors, sizes, and shapes.

Very early in the spring these bulbs can be started in pots indoors for earlier blooming time. Or if you prefer, they may be planted directly in the garden after possibility of frost is over. Michigan weather demands taking in these bulbs in the fall, then saving them over winter to plant again for enjoyment year after year.

Asiatic Lily

Lily
Asiatic Lilies are grown from bulbs. Unlike Daylilies, which grow in low clumps, Asiatic lilies are tall and graceful, sometimes reaching to 6 feet. The long stems are covered in narrow, pointed leaves, terminating with beautiful trumpet-shaped blossoms at the top. Due to their height, it is best to carefully stake Lilies, to avoid damage from wind. Find many colors at Wedel's!
